2004-12-05 1:00 AM Wandering Around The Mall Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (4) Last night was D&D and everyone was there. Rob ran a super fun and cool game and we ordered in food from Chin Chins. Every time we order from there I keep saying that I won't eat their food again. And I keep breaking that. Their food is yummy, but something is just... wrong with it. It always upsets my stomach in a bad way and last night I was reminded just how much I need to stay away from Chin Chins. Seriously, last night was just bad after eating that. Good going in, bad coming out. Today Rob and I slept in. Well, we got up to call maintanence and then went back to sleep. Recently we've had the heat on (yes, this penguin does sometime have the heat on) and it's done weird things. Like made dripping noises and started blowing out cool air. Or started smelling like burning wax. I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to do either of those things. So, we called maintanence to check it out. Yeah. The weekend staff are the weird ones. The guy had no clue at all. He didn't know anything about a central AC/Heating unit. So, someone might come by next week if we're lucky. Grr. When they left we got some more sleep and once we woke up we stayed in bed a little longer. Eventually we got up, got ready, and headed out. We went to the Canoga Park area and went to a mall. We looked around a bit and had fun. It's the Westfield Topanga one up near Berek and Pita's place. Rob got an acupressure massage and a calendar for his office (of New York). We also found a gift to give to my Mom - something we know she's been looking for for a long time. After the mall we headed to T.G.I. Friday's for dinner. There was no wait, which was a little surprising being that it was just after 8pm on a Saturday night. Dinner was yummy and the service was excellent. After dinner we headed back home. Luckily we got back before the rain started. It's pouring out now. We're not sure what we're going to do tomorrow. A lot of it depends on if it's still pouring out. ----------
