Mood:
A bit sick.

Not a lot is going on around here currently. Tis the season to start getting sick, and once again I am. Right now it's mostly nausea and the like and a little bit of a stuffed up head. Hopefully it's mild enough that it won't go to my lungs. I'm very worried about this flu season though because I haven't gotten a flu shot and it looks like I won't be able to. Since I'm in one of the high risk groups that is not a good thing. In years past I've ended up in the hospital with a tube down my throat so that I could breathe. I'm really hoping that chugging Airborne and Echinicea will keep the serious sickies away. We'll see.

Wednesday night we went out to the Sherman Oaks mall to try and get a good amount of our holiday shopping done. I was able to pick up a gift card at Bath and Body Works for Margie and some cool gifts for my Mom. We'll still need to do a bit more shopping, but some things we can get done when we're out in Illinois.

Other than that things are pretty eh around here. There are almost no new job postings (which is normal in the time between Thanksgiving and New Years), but not having anything to even apply to currently is really getting me down. Tonight is D&D and that should be fun. Rob and I don't have solid plans for the weekend, but we would like to make a trip to the Long Beach Aquarium if time and weather permits.

Oh, remember Rob's entry last month about the guy at KFC who didn't know what a chicken strip was? And how he said they didn't carry popcorn chicken or that bucket combo with fried chicken, popcorn chicken, and chicken strips? He was more of a retard than we even thought. Last night Rob and I picked up dinner at that KFC and they did have the bucket combo, they did have popcorn chicken, and right on the menu CHICKEN STRIPS. Freak. It's on the menu. How can he not know what a chicken strip is? *sigh*
