Mood:
Lonely

Yesterday Rob and I woke up at 7am (keep in mind this is 5am Los Angeles time). Yuck. We got ready, finished packing, and left my Mom's house around 9am. My Mom drove and my Nana came along. The trip to the airport took about three hours. We made two stops along the way. One for gas and the other for some food. We arrived at the airport around noonish.

Check in was a breeze. There was no waiting in the first class line. My Mom came in with us since there had been a problem with our upgrades on the way out, but this time there was no problem at all. After we checked in we hugged my Mom and she headed off. We then got in the line for security. That line was very long and we realized too late that there was a line for first class passengers. Oh well, we weren't in any hurry. We got through security without any problems and headed to our gate. It at the farthest part of the farthest terminal. We waited around a bit and the boarded the plane.

The plane was supposed to take off at 3pm. We didn't even start moving until 4pm. There was a problem with standby passengers and people being split up from their family so we had to wait until everything was settled before taking off. The flight back was okay until we hit the LA area. The movie was Shark Tale and now I'm really glad that Rob and I decided not to see it when it was in the theatre. The movie was super dumb and lame. Oh well, at least it was free. When we started hitting the storm area over SoCal the plane ride started getting bad. We had some really bad turbulence and had to circle out over the ocean before landing because of the storm and winds. L.A. was getting hit with a super bad storm. Rain, wind, lightning and thunder (which is pretty much unheard of out here) and even tornados! I'm wondering if this horrible weather is some sort of butterfly effect from the recent quake and tsunami. Any quake that is strong enough to disrupt the Earth's rotation will probably have some freaky effects on weather around the world. And right now, L.A. is getting some of the freakiest weather I've ever seen.

After getting off the plane, it took forever to get our luggage. The baggage handlers (and others who work out where the planes land and dock) were all pulled inside because lightening started striking in the area where the planes are. Finally we got our bags, called the limo (which oddly enough was an SUV and not a limo), and headed home. When we got home we unpacked and ordered in Chinese food. We went to bed early because I wasn't feeling too well.

I slept in something fierce today. I slept for around 14 hours and I still feel like ass. My head hurts, my vision is blurry, my heart is racing, my breathing is super fast, and I'm shaking. It feels like I'm having the anxiety attack from hell. I think it's exhaustion. My body hasn't fully recovered from yesterday yet. Last night was just as bad only I was also shivering. Hopefully this should wear off in the next day or so and I should be back to normal.

This afternoon I met with Tina and she brought my mail box key over. I'm also doing laundry. I am so lonely right now and probably will be for the next few days. I'm back at home and my Mom and Nana are at their place in Illinois. Rob's at work. I'm used to being around all of them pretty much 24/7 and now that it's just me and the cats around here I'm getting lonely and depressed.

Your New Years Resolution Should Be: Get rid of your "computer butt"
You've got more than "back" - you've got a big, fat ass. And it's probably because you count multiple IM sessions as exercise So, get yourself on the Hacker's Diet, stat... And then you can stop pretending that you're a hot chick in chat rooms.
