Rob got home a wee bit early from work today so we headed out to the AMC 6 to see a 6:10 showing of The Phantom of the Opera. Wow. That was an amazing movie. The singing voices took a little while to get used to, but they were all on key and great. The costumes, set, lighting, etc. were phenomenal. I now have a new favorite movie. If you have seen the play (and liked it) I strongly recommend that you see the film. If you haven't seen the play it would still probably be phenomenal, but I always think it's the best idea to see the original first. Granted, it's not as great as being at the live theatre version, but it's pretty damn close. This is not only something I'll buy on DVD, but I'll probably see it again in the theatre. The Lost Boys has been my all time favorite movie since 1987. It's still up there, but this is definitely my all time favorite now.

After the movie I called my Mom on my cell. Apparently my Nana isn't doing too well. Please send good vibes / prayers / spells / whatever your mojo is to both my Mom and my Nana. We then headed to dinner at Chevy's. Dinner was good though they screwed up our order and we had to send it back because it was onion laden. After dinner we went into Barnes and Noble and then headed out of Burbank.

On the way home we stopped at the drug store and the grocery store. At the grocery store we got all sorts of healthy food. From fruits and veggies to tofurky for sandwiches (with soy cheese) to soy milk. My eating habits (except for dinner tomorrow night which we already have reservations for) is about to change drastically. While I won't know for sure if I had a heart attack until the doctor sees me on the 12th, I do know that my palpitations aren't good and I really need to start eating healthier if I want to live to see my mid-thirties (or even my next birthday for that matter). So, it's time to get the healthy food. Rob and I are probably going to make a run to Whole Foods later in the week.

Right now Rob and I are in the computer lab (we're so getting DSL on our computer soonish) doing stuff. I've got a mug full of English Breakfast tea and am about to log onto Neopets and just have some fun.

Since this will probably be my last posting of 2004, I hope you all have a happy new year! The next time I post, chances are it will be 2005.

Lethargic Drunk. "HHhhh...I'm sleepy." You might be one of the other drunk types for a
while.. but you usually end up falling assleep
before the party's over. When you are awake,
you tend to be in your own world, observing how
funny things look with beer goggles on.
