2005-01-16 1:31 AM Hair and a Movie Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (0) Today Rob and I headed out to the Inland Empire for our hair appointments. When we got out there we made a quick stop at the bank and at a Starbucks and then headed over to Gebhart. I got my hair done the same color blonde and Margie was also able to squeeze me in for an eyebrow wax which I sorely needed. Rob got his hair cut, which was probably a good thing seeing as how it was getting a bit on the poofy afro side. I believe the exact quote after seeing all the hair on the floor after the cut was "Damn, that's a lot of hair!". The hair appointment went well and it was nice talking to and catching up with Margie. My hair and my eyebrows (and Rob's hair) look excellent as usual. Hence why unless I move, I will probably never change salons. After the salon we headed to Border's where I picked up a CD and some magazines. Then we headed to the movie theatre and saw a 4:35 showing of White Noise. The idea for the movie was a great one, too bad the movie wasn't good. It was boring and dragged on and on. The parts that weren't boring didn't make much sense. At the end of the movie I ended up going "huh?". Rob kept muttering "bored" under his breath during it. It's basically two hours of Michael Keaton staring at a fuzzy TV screen and occasionally something scary jumping out at him. After the movie we headed to LionHeart Games and Rob got some D&D minis and a new D&D book called The Complete Adventurer. I got some dice and a book called Baby's First Mythos. It's an alphabet and number book with the Cthulhu mythos. Super cool. We then headed to the excellent Chinese restaurant by Gebhart to get some dinner. Dinner was super yummy as usual. After foodage we stopped for gas and headed home. ----------
