Yesterday was AMAZING!!!!! Rob and I headed out of the apartment around 9:20am and went to the Canoga Park / Woodland Hills area to pick up Pita (Berek had work). Then it was off to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

Traffic was pretty good on the way down there and we were able to get a spot in the parking lot that was right across from the aquarium. When we went into the aquarium I was in awe. So many fishies! The gift shop overwhelmed me. I was surrounded by all sorts of fish related merchandise. This place was truly fishy heaven for me.

The three of us managed to do the whole aquarium. We looked at everything there was to look at. I'm not going to go into detail of every little thing we saw because that would take forever, but I will mention some of the highlights:
One of the fishies that we saw was super cool. I don't know what kind of fish it was (and they only had one) but we dubbed it the "infernal fish". It looks like a Twinkie with black spots, horns, and a goatee. So cool.
Pita is the Queen of the Puffer Fish. We were at a tank that had all sorts of puffer fish in them. They kept swimming up to her, smiling (I didn't know fish could smile either), and then swimming off.
I am the Queen of the Puffins. When we were at the tank with the Puffins, one of the cute little birds followed me around and kept trying to get through the glass and to me.
Rob is the Lobster God. One HUGE ugly looking lobster scuttled over to look at him and then started moving itself as if it was bowing. Rob then told it to get back under the shell where it had come out from and it did so.
Annoying children are now referred to as "chum". When we were at one of the shark tanks the sharks kept swimming right up to the glass whenever there was a kid there. One of them even opened its mouth wide (scary) as it was approaching. I think they were hungry.
Huge rays that sweep around the bottom of the tank with the sharks are now referred to as "roombas". Pita has deemed it such.
Lorakeets are some of the coolest birds on the planet. They like me and hate Pita. They kept landing on me. One landed on my head and a bunch of others would land on my arms and try to lick me. Those birds are so playful. They'll go on their back like a kitty and start batting at your hair. So cute. With Pita they kept biting her, trying to pull one of her bracelets off her, and one tried to rip her shirt off. Weird.

Anyway, the aquarium trip was wonderful and I had an amazing time. Rob got me some cool souveniers from the gift shop (which by the way is really reasonably priced). We got some jellyfish and a leafy sea horse to hang up in our bathroom and Pita got me a cool little plastic turtle.

After the aquarium we headed back to the Valley and met up with Berek at his and Pita's apartment. From there we headed out to Toys R Us where Pita and I got some cool dragon eggs. There are parts of a dragon inside of them that you can snap together and make a cool dragon out of. We had dinner at The Pizza Cookery and then went over to Berek's work (it's closing and he's becoming the manager of another store) for a little bit. The store was closing and we were able to get a ton of free cat food (the wet stuff), some cat toys, and some mats for the cats to sleep on. Berek and Pita also took a ton of cat food and dog food for their pets and Pita's Mom's. From there we made a stop at Walgreen's and then dropped Berek and Pita back off at home. Rob and I then headed home and passed out. I was exhausted.

Today Rob turned in the heart monitor and was told I should have my results back mid to late this week. I'll let you all know what happens with that. Other than that, not much is going on around here today other than laundry.
