2005-01-26 12:46 AM Meaty Goodness Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Awake Read/Post Comments (3) Tuesday night Rob and I toyed with the idea of seeing a movie, but work was hard for him. He kept having data base problems and things were stressing out. So, I decided that maybe we should do a nice relaxing dinner out instead of sitting in a theatre for a few hours. He liked that idea. I asked where he was interested in going and he chose Pichana (the Brazilian meat place in Burbank). When we went down to the parking garage we found that both of our cars were filthy. For the past few months our building has been having work done on the fitness center and the hallway around it. That's right near where our cars were parked and we went down to find them coated in a layer of dust and grime. Ew. I so want to wash my car because it's disgusting, but there's really no point. With the work being done it will be back to super dirty within one day. Blah. They need to get this work done because it's making the car so dirty that I couldn't see out my windshield without washing it first (and I also found out that I'm low on washer fluid - is there a way to refill it without taking it in for an oil change because I don't need one yet). My asthma also started acting up after being in the dusty garage and having the air on in my car (I think it blew some of that crap in my car). Ever since going down to the garage I've been coughing and wheezing. Anyway, after being surprised at the amount of crap on our cars we headed out to dinner. Dinner went well and was super yummy. By the time we were done with it we were stuffed full of meat. On the way home we stopped at the drug store, the ATM, and Starbucks for some tea for me and some weird hot chocolate that tastes like a melted chocolate bar for Rob. We then headed home and relaxed around the house. At 10pm our time (midnight Illinois time) I called my Mom to wish her a happy birthday. Today, the 26th, is her 61st birthday. Rob is currently asleep in bed and I'm wide awake. It's insomnia time again. It's been so good recently and I've been able to sleep semi-normally, but not tonight. Tonight I can't sleep yet again. ----------
