Tonight (Friday night) Rob and I headed out to the Burbank AMC 6 and saw a 7:05 showing of Meet The Fockers. It was actually pretty decent. Very funny, about as good as the original, and a nice break from the crap we've been seeing lately. Definitely a fun movie. After the movie we went to Chevy's for dinner. To my surprise, they actually got my order right this time and there wasn't an onion on anything. Yay!

After dinner we headed out to Pasadena to hit the game store and to get my car washed (yes, I know it will be disgusting again within a few days because of the construction, but I was getting bothered by how dirty it was). On the way there we nearly got into an accident. Some retard put his flashers on and stopped IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY instead of pulling over to the side of the road. The cars in front of me had to swerve into the next lane to avoid him and I just slammed on the brakes. My car skidded to a stop. Literally. I could feel that the tires weren't moving, but the car still was. Scary. We made it to The Game Zone fine and in once piece though I was a little shaken by the near accident. When I got in the game store I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. The smell in there (mostly of body odor and farts) made me want to vomit. And there were these guys who kept belching as loud as they could and as many times as they could. I quickly bought Rob a present for work of a stuffed Beholder and he picked up a copy of Dragon Magazine (we so need to get a subscription to it). We then headed out ASAP. Ew. I like LionHeart Games SO much better! I just wish they were open late. After the game store I stopped at a gas station and ran my car through the car wash in back. I was a little freaked out when I came out because steam was pouring out of my hood. I called my Mom and she said it's normal in cold weather. Wheh. Once the car stopped steaming we headed back home.
