Saturday Rob and I got up and took Sydney to the vet's for his annual check up and shot. We made sure to get our favorite vet (who was even at our wedding) and it was fun talking with her again. Apparently, she lives just down the street from us on Arch. Cool. She looked Sydney over and he seems to be in good health. After the vet appointment we went through the drive thru at In-N-Out because Sydney was a very good boy at the vet's. Rob and I got lunch for ourselves and a hamburger for Sydney as a treat. When we got home, Sydney ate the entire burger! He then even tried to take some of ours! I swear, that cat is bottomless.

In the evening Rob and I got together with Berek and Pita. We did a Pleasure Chest / Hustler Hollywood run. At Pleasure Chest Rob and I picked up a few other things. At Hustler I managed to find some cool birthday gifts for a very close friend of mine who is having a birthday soon. I can't post about them on here because this person reads my journal. After the stores we went to the IHOP in Burbank where I managed to horrify Pita with my talent of being able to sing the hamster dance in that weird little hamster voice. When we were done with dinner Berek and Pita dropped Rob and I off at home and we crashed.

Sunday Rob and I got up early and Berek met up with us at our apartment. Pita had plans with a friend, so Berek spent the day with us. We headed out to the Inland Empire for some fun. Our first stop was to show Berek LionHeart games. He was super impressed and loved the store. He bought some things, Rob bought some minis, and I bought some blue and silver dice. Our second stop was for lunch. We were lucky enough to find an A&W and the food there was tasty. They even had cheese curds (Culver's is still better).

From there we headed to Ontatio Mills. We spent most of the day wandering around the entire mall. I picked up some shiny rocks for my "treasure" collection that I'm putting in an empty glass milk bottle. Eventually I need to get a fake flower to put in it, that would look really cool. Rob got me some little plastic fish and Berek some little pirate rubber ducks. I was also able to get my watch fixed at the Fossil store. One of the links kept coming undone and my watch would keep falling off. They don't sell links there, but the guy swapped my broken one for a good one from a refurbished watch that was exactly like mine (and did it for free). So nice of him!

When we were done at Ontatio Mills we headed to the Montclair Plaza. Rob looked at Hot Topic because he wanted to pick up another one of those ruffly middle ages shirts (I think they're called poet's shirts), but they don't sell them anymore (which sucks because his is falling apart). *grumble* I picked up a sexy lingerie outfit (black lace cami and matching panties) at Torrid. Well, Rob picked it out, but I bought it. While at the mall we talked about the D&D game a bit and Berek came up with an interesting (yet disturbing) idea for his character Aldain. Once again, I'm not posting about it here because I think he wants it to be a surprise for the other party members when his character starts up with it, but it fits in with the way the party is going so it should be interesting. It's a good thing this game is made up of all adults who know the difference between game and reality!

After the mall we headed to Golden China, a super yummy Chinese restaurant in the same area where I usually get my hair done. Dinner was yummy, but Berek started getting really sick during it. It wasn't the food, it was the fact that he was coming down with a bug and might have over done himself during the day. I also started getting a headache, so it was a good thing Rob was driving because at the end of the day he was the only one up to it. When we were done with dinner we made a brief stop to get gas and run Rob's car through a self-wash and then headed back to our neck of the woods. I stopped at the drug store to get some meds I needed and then we headed back to our apartment. Berek headed out right away and Rob and I watched a bit of Adult Swim and then went to bed.
