Fondue For Shannon

Mood:
Sick and not very lucid.

I'm still sick. Running a fever, dizzy, and kind of out of it, so please excuse this entry if I babble or if parts don't make much sense. I'm trying my best to make this as lucid as possible.

Yesterday I spent the day in bed. This bug is knocking me on my ass and staying awake is not very easy. I spent most of the day sleeping and then got up and got ready for Shannon to come over. We were going to do a full girlie day, but I just wasn't well enough to do that. Shannon arrived a little after 4pm and we chilled out around the apartment (and I gave her the presents from Rob and I) until Rob got home from work. Once Rob got home we all headed out to fondue.

Dinner was super yummy as usual and I think Shannon really liked it. The waiter that has a thing for me wasn't there, which was probably a good thing seeing as how Rob wanted to poke him in the groin with a fork the last time we were there. They played the creepy birthday music for Shannon and came out with a sparkler in our fruit. Nearly set Rob on fire. We had fun and started joking about the trapped souls in purgatory wanting cheese. Don't ask, we're all weird (and this was with no alcohol). After dinner Shannon headed out and Rob and I watched a bit of TV and then went to bed.

Today I'm still knocked on my ass and it's hard to make coherent thought. I'm working on laundry and around the house stuff. Time to head off. Putting together coherent sentences is making my brain hurt.

Purple with a gay pride symbol... how could he not be gay? And that red purse is divalicious!
