Rob and I slept in today and went out at night. The rain has finally stopped and it was pretty nice and clear out. So, after getting up and getting ready we headed to the Santa Monica Promenade. Rob drove.

We parked in the lot by the mall and just spent the night walking around. We walked the entire Promenade and looked around in some stores. Neither of us has been there in awhile and it was fun to head out there. At Border's I picked up a stuffed "love bug" for Rob, a D&D book for him, and some love coupons for him as well (all as Valentine's day presents). He already has the main present - a stuffed Beholder. Hrm, maybe it will shoot a ray of disintegration at his boss if he takes it to work with him. He can always hope, right? He got me a small stuffed devil bear and some love coupons. I know I'll be using those coupons! I just hope he uses his! I also picked up a piggy bank (green with a shamrock hat) at Old Navy. I collect their piggy banks, they're just so damn cute. We got some coffee at Starbucks and once we were done walking around headed to Buca Di Beppo for dinner. That place is so yummy (and reasonably priced).

After dinner we made our way back home via Wilshire and Highland. It was fun just driving down the side streets and looking around (and playing hooker tag). We also drove through Westwood to see if there was anything of interest still in the area. We made a pit stop at the grocery store on the way home for some fresh fruit to munch on tonight and then headed home. In a little bit we'll probably play some Neopets. Addicting and fun.
