Braving The Rain For A Night Out

Getting better, but my lungs are still full of crap.

Tonight Rob and I decided to head out for dinner and a movie. With my being super sick, it's been awhile since I've been able to just go out and have some fun. My flu is mostly passed. I still have the lingering crap in my lungs, but that will take awhile to get out. I wish I could be on antibiotics. They make it go away so much faster.

It was raining pretty heavily out, so I drove. Rob's a new driver and I have an SUV so it's best for me to do the wet weather driving. We headed to the AMC 6 in Burbank and saw a 7:05 showing of Hide and Seek. I thought it was pretty decent. Nothing I'm dying to see again and not something I'll buy, but a hell of a lot better than the crap we've been seeing lately. Rob didn't seem to like it too much. After the movie we grabbed dinner at Chevy's and then headed out of Burbank. We made a pit stop at the drug store for my magnesium pills and a few other things and at the grocery store for some pineapple and then headed home.

Rob's exhausted and is currently in bed. If he decides to make it a nap we'll probably head out to the business center and play Neopets in a bit. If he's out for the night then I'll probably just play around on our home computer for awhile. I'm not tired at all.
