I am so bored right now. Maintenance was supposed to be here at 11am this morning. At 12:20 I called down to the leasing office to see what the hold up was. Apparently, they never wrote us down in the schedule. I told the guy that I had waited around last Tuesday and no one ever came because I was told 3 of the 4 people working that day had called in sick. I wasn't going to wait around again for nothing. He called them and they finally got here around 1pm.

The new stovetop drip pans and the balcony cleaning went quickly. Installing the new faucets and towel racks is taking forever. They were supposed to do new faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms and in the tub and shower. It looks like they won't be doing the kitchen or the tub or shower. Whatever. They took a lunch break around 2 and just came back. During the lunch break I wasn't able to use either of the faucets in the bathroom. I really hope they get this work done by the end of today. I don't want to deal with this again tomorrow.

While they're working, I'm herding Sydney. I needed to make sure he stayed inside when they did the balcony wash and I need to make sure he doesn't try to escape when they're coming in and out of the apartment. I'm also trying to keep him away from them while they work since they're busy and he's friendly. I have no idea where Amber is. The last I saw her she was staring out a window, but when the doorbell rang she took off. She'll probably show up sometime later on tonight when she's sure they're gone. She doesn't like new people all that much.

Right now I'm bored out of my mind. I've been on the computer all day and have not only gotten all the job hunting for the day out of the way, but I also did pretty much everything on Neopets. So, I'm just putting around the house doing chores until Rob gets home. Tonight I need to check the air pressure in my tires and put some air in them at the gas station on the corner if it's needed. Tomorrow I need to make an appointment to take my car in. As you can tell, my life is full of excitement right now. Okay, it's really not.

Right now I'm trying to type with one hand because earlier today I crushed my left hand. It hurts like hell and is turning funny colors. It also kind of looks a bit mangled. I don't think it's broken because I can move my fingers, but damn does it hurt. The fun just never ends around here. Meh.
