2005-04-26 1:18 PM Fun Day With Mindy Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy Read/Post Comments (4) Yesterday Mindy came over around 3ish. I haven't seen her since we went to the Haunt back in October - way too long. She's currently out of work and so am I so we figured we might as well hang out and have some fun while we both have the free time. We hung out around the apartment for a little bit and talked and then decided to head out to the mall in Sherman Oaks. We spent a good amount of time just wandering around and talking. We looked in a lot of stores, but didn't end up getting all that much. She only got some chocolates. I got Rob some t-shirts, myself a lounge outfit, and some body wash. We spent some time in the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (I'm addicted to their Lavander Mint Tea) and just talked. A lot of catching up was done. We also found out that we still have a lot in common. Everything from both having some disturbing health issues to the fact that we both realized it's time to get rid of the toxic people in our lives. I recently severed ties with a "friend" who was toxic to me and she's working on the same. I had a lot of fun hanging out with her and we both want to find time to get together more often. She also told me about her experience at a workshop at the unemployment office and that only in LA do you get an actress from The West Wing, and actor from NYPD Blue, and a DJ from KBIG in the workshop with you. We headed out of the mall around 5:15 and when we got back to the apartment Rob was already home. We hung around the house and talked for a little bit and then headed out to dinner. Mindy loves meat and had never been to Picanha, so we took her there. She loved it. While we were eating dinner there we noticed Julia outside, and she stopped in to say hi. It was so cool seeing Julia there, but the poor girl was still working (it was around 8pm). Eep! After dinner we headed back to the apartment. Mindy took off and Rob and I relaxed around the house and went to bed early. We were both very exhausted. ----------
