2005-05-08 1:21 AM Carrie Is A Gamer (hehehe) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Awake and spastic. Read/Post Comments (14) Friday night was D&D, unfortunately Carrie couldn't make it. However, she did call and tell us to magic missile and then fireball whatever we were up against. Wow. I think we just officially turned her into a gamer. There's no denying it anymore Carrie, you're a gamer. Woot! Anyway, game was good and we fought (and killed) a bronze dragon. It was a lot tougher than anything else we've fought up to this point and the fact that it was flying during the fight made it tough for our fighter to take swings at it. Yet another great game thanks to Rob. Today Rob and I slept in. When we got up it was time to head out to the Claremont area. Our first stop was at Lane Bryant where I was looking for some cropped jeans for the summer. I realized while trying them on that I'm short. The crop jeans came down to my ankles. Normal jeans length. Grr. After Lane Bryant we headed across Foothill to Lionheart. Lenny was holding two new D&D books on the side for us. One of them is a Forgotten Realms book full of neat things if you're playing an evil character. Sweet. We also got a bag full of comic books and a hero click - it was free comic book day. While neither Rob nor myself are into comics, we know that Berek is and that he had to work today. So, we picked them all up for him. From there it was on to dinner. Chinese food at Golden China. Soooooooo yummy. After that we went to Best Buy and bought a wireless router so that Rob can play City of Heroes on the laptop while I play Neopets on the desktop. We also picked up a CD rack since we just ran out of space for our CDs. We then headed back to our home area and then went past it for a brief stop at Berek and Pita's. Berek wasn't home yet, but Pita was so we dropped the bag o' comics off there. Rob and I then made a stop at the drug store and headed home. All in all a fun and productive day. Tomorrow we're torn between going to the Aquarium, going to the swap meet, or just spending the day in bed. We'll see what we feel like tomorrow. ----------
