Yesterday Rob and I toyed with the idea of either going to the Aquarium or the swap meet. But the bed was just so damn comfy. It's been awhile since we just spent some time cuddling in bed (while awake) so we stayed in bed until the afternoon.

When we finally did get up, we called Berek and Pita to see if they were up for hanging out. They were. So we swung by their place to nab them and then headed out to Santa Monica. We wandered around the Promenade for a little while and looked in a few stores. We then made our way over to a British Pub for dinner. Rob and I had been wanting to check it out for awhile now. We're glad we did. The place has amazing food and we'll definitely be going back there. The four of us talked and chilled while we ate. We also wondered why the hell they sat a group of four (especially when three of the four are overweight) at a tiny little curved booth. Even Rob had problems fitting in it (and he's skinny). The food more than made up for the cramped little booth.

After dinner we wandered the Promenade some more and got crepes for dessert. When we were done with dessert we headed out of Santa Monica to the Virgin Megastore in Hollywood. I was looking to pick up a few more Era CD's, but they didn't have any in stock. I know I can get them through Amazon (that's how I found out that more than one existed), but I have had some major problems with them (or with the people in my building - I'm not sure which). The last two times I ordered things from them, I never received them. I don't know if it was Amazon's fuck up or if someone in my apartment building took them, but when I contacted Amazon about it they pretty much told me "too bad" and never sent me a replacement. So, I wasted money twice on orders from them. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the CDs anywhere else. Bleh.

After the disappointment at the Virgin store we headed out. We dropped Berek and Pita off at their place and ran into some car problems there. Rob needed to open the trunk for them (and for some reason it will only pop if the car is off) so he shut the car off and popped the trunk. Then he couldn't turn the car back on. We couldn't even get the keys out of it. Eventually, we found out that he had left the car in "drive" when he turned it off. Once he put it into "park", everything was fine. We then headed out and went home.
