Last night Rob and I cashed in our full piggy bank and went out to dinner with the money. We headed to La Fondue because we had been wanting to go there again for awhile now. We were planning on going last week, but I was too sick to do much of anything and solid food just wasn't going to work. Dinner was amazing, as usual. After dinner Rob was nice enough to drive out to Glendale so I could see where I would be bringing my car to the next day. The dealership had moved, and I always like to know where the hell I'm going.

When we got home, I ended up getting hardly any sleep. Why is it when I have to get up in the morning for something, I can't sleep at all the night before? This always happens and it blows. This morning I had to get up to take my car in and I got maybe an hour of sleep on and off (if that). On mornings when I don't have to get up at any particular time (even if I'm planning on getting up) I can sleep just fine. It's so annoying.

My only sleep was gotten between the hours of 7am and 8am when Rob finished up getting ready for work and took off. At 8am my alarm went off and I groggily got out of bed and into the shower. I might have gotten almost no sleep last night, but a shower is better than caffeine when you're tired. At least it is for a little while.

My car appointment was for 10am and as usual I had scheduled a loaner car so I could come back here and do something productive until my car was ready. Apparently I was the first 10am appointment there and they weren't backlogged so the guy quoted me an hour time. I decided to forgo the loaner car. There was really no point. In the time it would take to drive back home and then out to Glendale again the car would be done. So, I waited. I chilled out in the waiting room (which is amazing) and the car was ready before 11am. I love this place.

Now I'm back and doing the usual (job hunting, laundry, household stuff, putting songs on the iPod, etc.). It's nice that I don't have to head back to the dealer this afternoon. I think I might take a nap later on if I have the time. I'm starting to get real tired real fast.
