D&D Night

Mood:
Sleepy and hungry.

When Rob got home from work the both of us were exhausted. Neither of us has been sleeping well as of late. So, we decided to pass out before people got here for the D&D game. We slept right up until Carrie and Bryce called to be let into the building.

Warning: Game geekiness will fill the next paragraph.

Game went very well. Everyone was here. We went through the treasure of the dragon we killed last game and then the game became Krynn's (my character - she's a devil with the classes of Hexblade, Disciple of Dispater, and Blackguard) bachlorette party (she's getting married to Mephistopheles probably next game). Since Krynn just leveled as Blackguard 5 she got her fiendish servant - a two headed wyrmling black dragon. Sweet. So she now has Tortellini (a turtle) as her familiar, Scarabae (also known as Dr. Spanky Corrodo R.D. - he's a rust dragon) as her cohort, and Leviathan (a two headed baby black dragon) as her fiendish servant. During game Krynn got the scales of the dragon we killed made into armor for Sparhawk (Bryce's human fighter character). The bachlorette party was light hearted and fun until a gift came from Asmodeus... the severed head of Bel (the ruler of the first layer of hell and a friend to our adventuring group). Looks like our party now has someone else other than Yeenoghu to kill at some point. It was a really good game. All cool and light hearted and fun and then suddenly the mood goes somber as we get the severed head of one of our friends sent to Krynn as a "wedding gift". Luckily Jocelyn (Carrie's half-fey sorcerer) used a wish spell to bring Bel back to life. As always Narcissius (Pita's Kobold rogue/assassin/ranger) spent most of the time making fun of Aldain (Berek's human ex-Paladin/Blackguard/Fighter/Barbarian).

Gamer geeking over.

So yeah, once again it was another great game by Rob. He so rocks as a DM. By the time everyone headed out I was exhausted, but hungry. Rob and I got a bit of a second wind and so he's making bacon and eggs for us. When we're done with foodage we'll see if it's time for bed or if we want to hook up the wireless router and mess around online for a bit. I just thought I'd post while he was cooking.
