2005-05-22 1:00 AM We Saw It! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Thirsty Read/Post Comments (0) Okay, let's try this again. I had my entry half done and then Earthlink messed up on me (it's been sucking as of late) and I lost it all. Grr. Yesterday Berek called Rob to let him know he wasn't up for D&D because he was still tired from seeing the midnight showing of Star Wars 3. Since Carrie needed to take her roomie to the airport, Berek was tired, and Pita needed to study for a test, Rob decided to cancel the game. While it would be interesting (to say the least) with just Krynn and Sparhawk (Bryce's and my characters), it's not feasable to run a game unless at least half the players are there. So, we decided to head out for dinner. Since it was horribly hot in our area, the beach sounded nice. And so we headed out to Santa Monica. We had dinner at the King's Head Pub and grabbed some crepes at Cafe Crepe for dessert. On the way home we stopped off at the Virgin Megastore, but they didn't have what I was looking for. So, we headed back to our area, grabbed some Starbucks, and then went home. We were both pretty tired when we got home so we decided to watch some TV in bed (the end of American Psycho and part of Satan's School For Girls and then fell asleep. Today we headed out to the boonies. Well, kind of the boonies, more like the ass end of the Inland Empire. We stopped off at A&W for lunch an then headed to Ontario Mills. The AMC there was showing The Amityville Horror, you know, the movie we wanted to see last Thursday night that was NOT Kingdom of Heaven? Yeah, that one. We used the re-admit passes that the sucky AMC gave us to see the movie. Guess what? We actually saw the movie. How shocking is that? Of course this was one of the few places it was still playing, but we did get to see it. Besides, I think Rob likes long drives especially now that we have the iPod. The movie was pretty decent, especially for a re-make. I liked it and I now know that I need to get Rob to see the original at some point. After the movie we drove down Foothill and stopped at Baker's Square for dinner. I so love their French Silk pie. Mmmmm. From there we headed home. We just spent the last hour or so dealing with Earthlink problems. Our Earthlink Total Access program somehow deleted itself off of our computer and we've been trying to re-install it and calling Earthlink because things just weren't working right. I've said it before and I'll say it again... I HATE TECHNOLOGY. ----------
