2005-06-12 2:19 AM Shopping and Madagascar Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (4) Today Rob and I once again headed inland. We stopped in the Lane Bryant in Montclair and I was able to get two pairs of capri jeans and two pairs of regular jeans. I was right and had gone down a size. I'm happy because I now have pants that fit and aren't about to fall down. Yay. After the mall we had lunch at A&W and then made our way out to Ontario Mills. We stopped in the Skechers store so that Rob could get a new pair of sneakers since his old ones are starting to fall apart. We also stopped in Black Market Minerals. I got some shiny rocks for the milk bottle with the leather rose in it and a super cool necklace that I'll give to my Mom when we visit her this summer. We then headed over to the AMC and saw a 8:20pm showing of Madagascar. Both Rob and I really liked this movie. Much like the Shrek movies there were a lot of jokes in it for adults that kids just wouldn't get. It was a really good movie and Rob even liked it better than Star Wars. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. After the movie we headed down Foothill and had dinner at the Baker's Square in LaVerne. Oddly enough, it was empty. I would think more people would be there since it was one of the only places open late on a Saturday night. Oh well. Dinner was good and we headed home when we were done. I'm working on the main computer and Rob is making one more effort to get "City of Heroes" to work. This time we're trying to load it into my old Dell laptop. It won't load onto the main computer because it conflicts with Earthlink. It won't load onto the Vaio laptop because the graphics card is less than what's needed to run the game. So we figured what the hell... might as well at least give it a shot on the Dell. Here's hoping it works. ----------
