These questions were given to me by Nobody. As usual, if you want five questions from me just ask for them in my comments section. As a new twist... if you would like to ask me five questions post them in my comments section and I'll answer them when I have the time (provided they're not offensive or degrading).
1. Question # 1 will be answered in the private section of my journal.
2. I know you don't get to booze it up much but back when you did what was your favorite drink to get from the bar? How is it prepared?
In general, I'm a big fan of sweet wines. My favorites are the Oliliberry (probably spelled that wrong) and the Concord Grape ones from Royal Oaks. I used to like martini's, but one night I had a few too many and now I can't have anything with vodka in it or I'll throw up immediatly. Pre-pregnancy I was big on wine and it's the only thing I really miss. I told Rob that once the baby is born he needs to sneak a bottle into my hospital room.
3. You and I have 24 hours to spend together. What do we do?
I'd probably suggest something like Disneyland, the Aquarium, a movie, or just some shopping. However, when I'm able to get together with a friend I haven't seen in awhile I'm very open to ideas. There's nothing set I'd need to do though I'd like the time to talk and play catch up.
4. Is the personal political? Or should a private life be free of political ideals, the better to clearly enact them when a statement/position must be taken in public?
I'm not exactly sure what's meant by this question, so I'll just run with it as I see it. If you're asking if someone's politics should flow over into how they behave in their personal life, then my answer would be that it depends on the person. While I have very strong political beliefs and I believe I tend to adhere to most of them in my personal life, I don't think it's something everyone should do. People need to do what feels right for them. Should someone not act in their personal life according to their political beliefs I don't think they should be frowned down upon for their choice. Everyone needs to go with what path is right for them both politically and in their personal lives. I can see why some people would want to separate them just as I can see why some people stay out of politics all together. So for me, politics and my personal life are intertwined, but I don't think it has to be that way for everyone.
5. There must be at least one thing about the city of Los Angeles that you like and can't find anywhere else. What is it?
There are a lot of things I like about LA. I like Disneyland, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and it's proximity to super neat places like Solvang. I also love the weather around here in the Winter months. All of my friends are here and I love them dearly. My main problem is that the negatives (crime, insane housing costs, etc.) outweigh the positives for me.
