2005-08-27 3:27 PM Turkey Butt Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: So-So Read/Post Comments (2) Last night I was having a craving for fish. Pretty much the only fish I can eat without either dying or throwing up is tuna or Long John Silver's. Tuna intake is supposed to be kept to a minimum during pregnancy, so Long John Silver's it was. When Rob got home from work we chilled out around the house for a bit and then headed out to Montclair. Traffic on the way out there sucked big time. But we did make it out there and we did get yummy Long John Silver's food. The fish planks tasted amazing. The chicken planks... not so much. I don't know why, but this baby really does not like me eating chicken and lets me know this by the nausea I get when I do eat it. Grumble. After dinner Rob filled the car up with gas because it's a bit less expensive out there and I grabbed a slice of pie to go at Baker's Square. We then headed back towards home and made a brief stop at The Game Zone before getting back home. At home we played Hecatomb until around 3am and then finally fell asleep. This morning Rob took Amber to her vet appointment. Normally I'd go along with him, but since I'm pregnant (and allergic to cats) I didn't want to enter a place filled with them. An asthma attack is a very bad thing during pregnancy. When he got back home he told me Amber was healthy except for one thing. Her weight. She was tested for diabetes because she's "dangerously overweight". 15 pounds even. No wonder she has that turkey butt! So now we need to find a way to get her to lose weight without making Sydney (who is underweight) lose weight as well. Sigh. After talking about our turkey butt cat we went back to sleep. We were tired and it's the weekend. Besides, we might as well sleep as much as we can now because it's not going to be happening after the baby is born. ----------
