Saturday Rob and I gave Berek and Pita a call to see if they were free to hang, but they already had other plans. So, we decided to head down to Third Planet and do a few other things as well.

We made a stop in Third Planet to get some Hecatomb cards and a D&D open license book. We then decided to stop at a local Babies R Us. Such a great store! We're definitely going to have to register there if we end up having a baby shower. Rob picked up a stuffed duck, some duckie outfits, and an adorable cow suit (the pants and hoodie are cow print - the pants have a cow tail and the hoodie has ears and horns - too cute). I picked up a nice warm one piece that she can wear home on the way from the hospital and her first Halloween costume. Yes, I know her first Halloween is more than a year away, but this was the cutest costume ever! It's a lobster costume complete with a tail, claws, and big googly eyes. So adorable! From there we made a stop at BevMo so I could find some caffeine free sodas. We found an all natural cherry ginger ale which should help nicely with my nausea.

Then we drove up PCH and headed towards Santa Monica. I was craving Burger King so we kept a look out for one, but couldn't find a single one on the way from Torrence to Santa Monica. We did however see about 20 different McDonald's.

We ended up heading to the Third Street area in Santa Monica. We grabbed dinner at the Burger King near the mall (which is now nasty and skeezy) and then walked a little bit on the Promenade. It was hot, and crowded, and filled with smoke. Not to mention that it's become rather dirty and ghetto recently. After stopping in Puzzle Zoo and grabbing crepes we got the hell out of there.

On the way home I felt like ass. The smoke from the Promenade didn't help and I was on the way to migraine-ville. When we got home we played some Hecatomb, watched some TV, and I slapped a cold patch on my forehead and went to sleep.

Sunday I still wasn't feeling too good. My head was killing me. So we decided to just stay in. We cuddled in bed, cooked dinner in, and played some Hecatomb. Just a lazy day around the house while I tried to nurse another migraine.
