2005-09-22 3:47 PM My Freak Cat Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: So-So Read/Post Comments (2) Yesterday I felt much better. Minimal nausea, no headache, minimal dizzyness (well, for most of the day). So, when Rob got home from work I was more than ready to get the hell out of the house. I was in desperate need of a mani, so we headed over to Oasis. I got a wonderful mani and since I don't put polish on my nails the woman buffed them for me. I love it. They look like they have clear polish on. So neat. And my nails are once again a managable length without scary cuticles. Normally I can't get my nails to grow, but during this pregnancy they can get really long and when they break or bend it hurts like hell. So it was mani time. While I tend to get pedis once a month, I only get manis when I really need them. I should really consider getting them once a month as well. After my mani (Rob didn't get one, for some reason he's fine getting pedis but is still mani-phobic... weirdo) Rob and I headed to The Olive Garden for dinner. Remember what I said the other day about soup, salad, and breadsticks being great pregnancy food? Yeah, it is. Yum. After dinner we stopped by Krispy Kreme and got some doughnut holes. Later that night when we were at home Sydney kept stealing doughnut holes and running away and eating them. Weird cat. Later last night I had another dizzy spell, but this time I managed to avoid passing out. I was bending over to get something from one of my lower dresser drawers when I got super dizzy. I immediatly braced myself and ran for the bed. I put my head down for awhile and then laid down for about ten minutes until the room stopped spinning. Apparently you're not supposed to bend over when you're pregnant or it causes a low blood pressure shift. No one told me that until I was on the phone with my Mom last night. Ugh. I'm just happy I didn't pass out again, but these dizzy spells are annoying as hell. Oh, and Sydney is a super weird cat. I was eating mashed potatoes today for lunch and when I was done there was some left over. Sydney had been trying to get them the entire time I was eating them, so I let him have some before I got rid of what I couldn't eat. He stuck his head in the bowl and had some. While he was eating, some got on his collar tags and he spent the next few minutes rolling around trying to suck the mashed potatoes off of his collar. Eventually, he did it. Freak cat. ----------
