2005-10-11 3:32 PM Orange Pedi Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Wanting to know 100% if I'm having a boy or a girl. Read/Post Comments (1) This whole boy/girl thing is making me think too much. On one hand my head knows that a perinatologist knows what he's doing and that if he thinks it's a boy, it probably is a boy. On the other hand my gut just keeps telling me it's a girl. I keep thinking that's probably just wishful thinking, but it's such a strong feeling. And when my Mom told PK today about the ultrasound saying it's a boy, PK still thought it was a girl. Oh well, we should know for sure tomorrow. We're getting a 4D ultrasound done. It's only for keepsake and gender determination purposes, but that's fine since we already know the baby is healthy. What we really want to know 100% now is the gender. I'm still rooting for girl, but I realize it's probably a boy. Would I prefer a girl? Yes. But I'm happy with being able to have a healthy child of my own even if it is a boy. Rob however, still doesn't seem too happy about the prospect of having a son. Last night Rob and I headed out for pedis. We were going to get them last week and get one for my Mom as well, but she got one right before she came out. We'll just have to take her there around Xmas time! Rob fell asleep during his pedi (I have no idea how - it's not something I could sleep through, but then again I'm pretty sure he's narcoleptic). Mine was nice and relaxing and I got my nails painted orange since my favorite holiday (Halloween) is coming up. We came home after the pedis, ordered in foodage, and gamed. Today is laundry day! 7 loads to get done and that's just clothing. Sheets and towels will be done on a different day. Guess I'd better get used to doing nothing but laundry because I have a feeling there will be tons of it once the baby is here. ----------
