Last night Rob and I had a 6:30 follow up appointment with Prenatal Peek since Gabriel wouldn't cooperate the last time around. This time he did much better. There is now absolutely no doubt that he is indeed a boy. This time he cooperated (we bribed him with El Torito and a story) and we got to see his boy parts. We also got some really cute shots of him in 4D, including one where he's staring in awe at his foot. Too cute. He's absolutely adorable and it's so neat to be able to see him. He is one cute baby.

After the ultrasound we headed to El Torito for dinner. Gabriel likes Mexican food and doesn't seem to care that I don't. Oddly enough, though I once hated it, it actually tastes good when I'm craving it. It's like having a little mind controlling alien in me who determines what I should and should not eat! After dinner we made a quick stop at the grocery store and then headed home.

Today I'm on a special "diet" of no carbs, no sugar, and a whole lot of water. Pretty much the only thing I can eat is protein. So, lunch is some cold cuts and dinner will be a protein style (no bun, burger is wrapped in lettuce) In-N-Out burger. After dinner (around 6pm) I can't eat anything else. I'll be going on only water until sometime tomorrow night. Probably 24 hours+ without any food. Being pregnany and hungry (and stuck with needles for an entire day), I'll probably turn into Crazy Pregnant Lady. Tomorrow I get to spend the day at the hospital getting blood drawn every hour to determine if I do indeed have a massive complication. I hope I don't, because if I do it could spell a whole of of problems for both myself and Gabriel. Wish me luck tomorrow.
