Last night Rob and I stayed in because we had a lot of laundry to get done (and there's still more to do this week). We made caeser salad for dinner and it was super yummy. Rob's cooking combined with my Mom's recipe made for a great dinner. We also gamed a bit while the laundry was going.

This morning I met up with Nick and Lisa (yay!). They dropped by around 11am and we hung out around the house for a bit while Sydney kept trying to give Nick luvies. Eventually we headed out and went over to the Sherman Oaks mall. Nick was planning on going to a study seminar for work, but decided to hang out with Lisa and I instead.

When we got to the mall, we headed to the food court. We were all very hungry - they hadn't eaten since 2pm the day before and I'm pregnant. I grabbed a low carb wrap at Subway and they got food at La Salsa. Mmmmm, their burritos and chips looked so good. I can't wait until I can eat like a normal person again!

After lunch we headed to Lane Bryant. Nick spent some time with us in there, but then decided to head out and explore the mall on his own. Lisa was trying to find some clothes for a fancy Xmas party she's going to soonish, but nothing worked out. She did manage to find an adorable sweater though. I was looking through jackets and the like to see if anything would fit while pregnant. I found a cute sweater jacket that did fit over my preggo belly, but hated the color (tan). It also came in black and a neat dark green, but those colors were sold out in my size. Grr. So, I'll have to check another Lane Bryant for that sometime down the road.

We then headed into Bath and Body Works and looked around for a bit. The one at the Sherman Oaks mall is a huge flagship store. Lisa picked up some lip balms and some soap. I got some lip balms as well. From there we headed downstairs and met up again with Nick. The three of us went into Sephora and I got some Coconut Milk body wash by Philosophy for Lisa (she had posted a comment about being jealous that I got some recently on a past journal entry). I also checked out some perfumes, but didn't get any. My perfume is starting to run out and it was a limited edition summer thing only (Rockin' Rio by Escada) so I'm going to need to find a new scent sometime soon. We then made a brief stop in a beauty supply store for me to pick up some shampoo and conditioner that I needed and headed out of the mall.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention was that this time there was an expectant mother spot open, so we got to park really close to the mall entrance. Sweet! Lisa seemed surprised at how pregnant I look, and the fact that my big baby belly is hard. There's a lot of baby in there.

We then headed out of the mall and back to my place. Lisa and Nick dropped me off in the apartment turn around area out front. We talked for a bit and then they headed out (and back home) and I went up to the apartment. Right now I'm just getting some online stuff done before Rob comes home from work tonight. So far, today has rocked. I'm so glad I got to see Lisa and Nick again! It's been far too long.

You scored as Galactica (from Battlestar: Galactica). You are leery of your surroundings, and with good reason. Anyone could be a cylon. But you have close friends and you know they would never hurt you. Now if only the damn XO would stop drinking.
