2005-11-23 3:17 PM Looking For A Jacket Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Content Read/Post Comments (2) As I posted yesterday, hanging out with Lisa and Nick in the afternoon was a blast. I wish they lived closer. Not only are they both fun to hang out with, but Lisa is the only one I can commiserate about being a 1L at Pepperdine with. After Lisa and Nick headed back up to Paso, I did some stuff around the house until Rob got home from work. After he got home we headed up to the Northridge mall. I picked up some more maternity panties at Motherhood (they're made super cheaply and the ones I have been wearing are now falling apart in the wash), Rob got some hair gunk he needed, and I checked out Lane Bryant for the sweater jacket that I loved at the other mall. Once again, they didn't have it in my size. Apparently it's super popular and selling out all over the place. *sigh* Since it was still early, we decided to head over to the Topanga Canyon mall in Canoga Park and check the store out there. While they had a wider variety of colors there, they didn't have the color I wanted (green) in my size. So, we headed out and went to a local TGI Friday's for dinner. Wow, Friday's is the place to go while on a carb restrictive diet! They have an entire Atkins menu that lists carbs and all. They also have low carb desserts, but they're still made with sugar, and until the baby is born I'm not allowed to touch sugar. On the bright side, I have a nice amount of no sugar candy and ice cream at home. After dinner we headed home. Today Rob said that he was able to find the sweater jacket I'm looking for at a mall up in Thousand Oaks. They're holding it for me. Woot! So, we'll be heading up there tonight. ----------
