Just An Apathetic Sunday

Yesterday Rob and I had planned on going up to Solvang, but when morning time came we decided against it. We're both fighting off colds and just were not ready to get out of bed. Luckily, I seem to be fighting mine off pretty well. That's a major relief because should I get my usual pnemonia of the season, the baby will be taken then both for his sake and for mine. I'd rather stay healthy and have the baby when it's time.

So, we spent a good part of the day in bed. Some of the time we were actually sleeping. Once we got up, we were both very apathetic about what we wanted to do. We couldn't think of anything and just sitting there seemed fine. We finally decided we needed foodage so we headed out to Wendy's (we didn't care where we ate so it might as well be someplace cheap that's also good for my numbers). After dinner we went to the grocery store and the drug store. We then came home, played some Three Dragon Ante, watched some Adult Swim, and went back to bed.

My Mom finally went in to see the doctor today (2 days after cracking her head open after passing out and falling down the stairs and onto a sharp table which I'm pretty sure likes to feed on blood). Seems she forgot rule number one. (Rob and I have four basic rules. Rule number one - Jen is always right. Rule number two - Never let Jen in the kitchen... Rob should cook. Rule number three - Profit. Rule number four - Never split the party.) Anyway, what my Grandma told her was a quarter inch cut was wrong. The cut on her head was five inches long and she did need stitches. However, since it's two days after the fact, they couldn't give her stitches. So now she has a nice open bleedy wound on her head. They checked her out and gave her a CAT scan to make sure there was no internal damage. She's very lucky everything checked out all right. If this ever happens again, I'm calling a damn ambulance for her. At some point she needs to go back and have some blood work, a stress test, and a complete physical done so that they can see why she passed out in the first place. Hrm, maybe this is a sign that it's time to stop smoking?????

In other weird news, Sydney is a little piggy. Yes, you probably already knew that, but yesterday Rob was having pizza for lunch and Sydney stole a piece. We assumed he'd eat the toppings and cheese, but he ate the whole piece. Crust and all. He just gnawed through it until it was no more. He didn't even puke. Wow. Rob figured out that Sydney's size compared to the pizza slice's size would be like Rob eating TWO pizzas (or three pounds of pizza). My cat is unnatural and probably part goat. Amber is sticking to her new diet of eating the fake Xmas tree. Cats are weird people.

You scored as Draco Malfoy. You've grown up in a world where being the best and outshining others both in society and in school was your top priority. You like to make others jealous of you by both your possessions and accomplishments and delight in it when you know you've hurt someone. You really can't stand it when others get more attention than you do or someone goes totally against you and your beliefs. A lot of people probably get a bit annoyed with you. Perhaps you should give credit to others a bit more.
