2005-12-16 11:58 PM Traffic Nightmare Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (3) So, like I said in my previous entry, Rob got home early from work today (around 3pm). He and his co-workers had their Holiday lunch and when they got back to the office didn't feel like working anymore. So, his boss said that if people were at a stopping point they could leave. He left. I nearly crapped my pants when I heard someone at the door at 3pm. Amber seemed to know it was him. We hung out around the house for a bit so I could get some computer stuff done and then headed out. We were going down to Torrance to stop at Babies R Us, a mall, and Third Planet... or so we thought. Traffic was a nightmare. We got there three and a half hours after we left the house. So, we were able to stop at Babies R Us (and I got another pillow that might help me sleep and a back pillow that I found out doesn't work 'cause it's sized for a tiny person's back) but Third Planet was already closed and we couldn't figure out where anything was in a local mall. We cut our losses and just headed to dinner at El Torito. Food was yummy and we were going to head home after that, but I ended up getting a horrible nosebleed and used up all the tissues we had in the car. So, once my nose stopped bleeding we made a pit stop at a local drug store. We picked up some random things we needed and more tissues. Bloody noses (and really bad ones at that) seem to be the norm during pregnancy. Ugh. We headed home and decided to take side streets which also took a long time, but was a lot more scenic. So, now it's late and I'm super tired and probably won't be able to sleep tonight because my legs won't let me. *sigh* You have no idea how much I need sleep right now. I can barely even look at the computer screen or think. Bleh. ----------
