My Mom, Rob, and I all slept in again today. For me it was nice because once again I had a hard time sleeping. Ugh.

When we were up and ready to go we headed out and grabbed some lunch at McDonald's. We then headed to the pet store that was closed yesterday. This time they were open, and they did have in the tree style cat trees we wanted to get for the cats. Unfortunately, they were way too expensive so we had to forgo getting one. Even the smallest was around $260 and that was with 20% off! Oh well, I'll probably keep looking around and see if we can find one that fits our budget for a cat tree. We then made a stop at Whole Foods (which was a total zoo) for our turkey and headed back home to get ready for dinner.

We headed out of the house a bit later and went to Morton's (which out here is known as Arnie Morton's of Chicago) for dinner. I love that place. We had a great booth table and the meal was amazing. For tonight, I completely ignored my GD diet. I don't want to see what my after dinner numbers are going to be! While I did have good GD foods (salad, steak - cajun rib eye to be exact, and veggies) I also had bad GD foods (bread, a baked potato, and souffle for dessert). Oh well. It's Xmas Eve and the one time during this pregnancy that I'm allowing myself to indulge and damn it was good. The "forbidden" foods never tasted so good as they did tonight. Dinner was amazing and once we were done we made a quick stop by the drug store and then headed home. Rob and my Mom are watching TV while I get some stuff done on here. We're also making our sugar free pumpkin pie tonight since the oven will be occupied by a turkey tomorrow.

A Black Rook
You scored 3 Power-Finesse, 2 Leader-Follower, 2 Unique-Ordinary, and 2 Offense-Defense!

You don't have to worry about fancy plans, or sophisticated schemes. You are just on the board to kick some ass and smash some white pieces. You stand by your leaders, and they get worried when you are removed from play. You work best with your buddy, the other black rook, and when you don't have him watching your six, you tend to be somewhat ineffective.
