As mentioned earlier, my Mom headed back home today (she got back fine although her pilot on the flight from Chicago to Dubuque seemed to land the plane rather hard). I miss her a lot and can't wait until she's out here again.
Today was spent doing a lot of laundry. All our clothes and the sheets my Mom used on the sofa bed. All in all 6 loads were done and I still have 4 more to do at some point this weekend. Laundry never ends around here and I fear what it will be like with a baby.
Also as stated earlier, Rob got home from work early today. That was a great help when I was getting all lonely and depressed since he was at work and my Mom had left. We had a lot of things to get done around the house, so we only went out briefly tonight. We grabbed dinner at Wendy's, picked up his suit at Men's Wearhouse, and made an ATM and quick grocery store run.
When we got back home, it was time for more cleaning. We cleaned out the fridge, freezer, food cabinets, and counters in the kitchen. It takes a hell of a long time to clean up around here, but progress is being made. Slowly, but at least it's coming along. If we can get everything cleaned up by the time Gabriel's here I'll consider that a success. After cleaning we worked on a new D&D character for one of the side games Rob runs for me (I'm sticking with Krynn in the main game until she's dead or the game ends). In a little bit we need to move some furniture around in the living room to make way for our new chair which should be delivered sometime on Friday between 10am and 2pm.
