Gabriel is sick today. He seems to have come down with a nasty stomach bug. He probably got it from me because I've been having some problems for the past few days. Yesterday he had a few loose poops, but today it's pretty bad. He keeps filling up his diapers with diarrhea. It's very watery and has strings of mucous in it. I'm making sure he doesn't get dehydrated and he seems to be eating well. Rob put in a call to the pediatrician today and the doctor said that this is something that's going around with a lot of people. He said if Gabriel is eating well and staying hydrated he should be all right. I took his temp with one of those forehead strips and it says it's normal so that's a bit of a relief.

I feel so bad because he keeps crying and looks like he's in pain. He probably is in pain - his little tummy probably hurts. And then there will be a gassy diarrhea explosion in his pants. I wish I could do something to make him feel better. I absolutely hate seeing him like this, especially when there's nothing I can do to help him. There aren't even any children's medications I can give to him because of his young age.

I also wish I could get him to go to sleep. I think his sickies are keeping him awake, but he needs sleep to get better. I've been holding him for most of the morning and the only reason I even have the time to type this (between constant runs to put his pacifier back in his mouth when he loses it and gets frustrated) is because I finally put him down in his bassinet in the hopes that he'll get some sleep. He's still looking wide awake, but the poor little guy needs some sleep.

Your Quirk Factor: 60%
You're a pretty quirky person, but you're just normal enough to hide it.
Congratulations - you've fooled other people into thinking you're just like them!
