Eau De Sour Milk

Mood:
Frazzled

I'm currently trying to get Gabriel to sleep a bit. He's in the bassinet in his "quiet awake" stage. The poor little guy really needs to get a lot of sleep if he wants to beat this stomach bug. His body needs time to fight it, but he's awake a lot because of the pain he's in. One of the worst things in the world is seeing your child in pain and not being able to do a damn thing about it. If I could take this from him I would do so in a heartbeat. Then again, I think I already have it.

I think Gabriel has an internal alarm clock that only goes off when Rob heads off to work. Rob fed him and rocked him to sleep before heading to work and even checked on him last minute before he left. About ten minutes after he left Gabriel started a crying fit that lasted just until after 10am. My nerves are on edge and I'm about as frazzled as you can get. He's still got massive diarrhea and while he's not dehydrated he does have redness all around his bottom and even Desitin doesn't seem to be helping much. I think it's more from the acidic makeup of diarrhea and not really a diaper rash.

I am in desperate need of a shower. I got yorked on and have a lingering smell of sour milk stuck to my skin and in my hair. Granted, I usually smell like some sort of bad baby smell these days, but the sour milk smell that's on me now is starting to seriously gross me out. While I will say that to me it's all worth it, I'll also say that if you're thinking of having a baby then you need to spend one day with me. If you can handle it, then you're ready. It's not easy and it's not at all what I thought it would be like.

Caiaphas
You scored 65% Pride, 42% Envy, 55% Ambition, and 65% Deceitfulness!

You are Caiaphas, the high priest of Israel. You were a member of a strict Jewish sect known as the Pharisees. Aside from praying in the temple, your mission in life was to have Jesus executed. You are a rather ambitious person and you tend to accomplish most of the goals that you set for yourself. This goal was no different. You managed to have Jesus (the Son of God) crucified in approximately the year 28 AD. You had to get rid of Jesus because he was an insult to your pride. Before Jesus showed up, you were the most righteous man in all of Israel. Jesus was not only more righteous than you were, he also pointed out faults in your righteousness. Your pride blinded you to Jesus’ message and drove you to put the man to death. Of course you couldn’t do this right away because many people viewed Jesus as a prophet. This is the point where your deceptive skills came in handy. You welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem as an honored prophet and three days later; you arrested him in the night and hastily set up a trial to execute him.
