On Monday Mom and I got some errands done. Luckily, my car decided to work. We went to Pep Boys and got some stuff to take the red and white paint off of Rob's car (from the car that hit him when he was parked). We also made a stop at the drug store for my prescriptions and some other items I needed. Later on when Rob got home from work, Rob and I went to Del Taco to pick up dinner while my Mom stayed at home and watched Gabriel. When we got back home we all had dinner and watched some TV.

On Tuesday my Mom, Gabriel, and I headed to the mall (my car worked two days in a row!) and filled my car up with gas. Good lord, fifty bucks to fill it up! Yeesh! At the mall I made a stop in Bath and Body works because Rob needed a new bath sponge (I picked a white one up for him and a purple one for myself) and we needed some Wallflower refills. I also bought some room spray in the same scent as the Wallflowers we use (Red Delicious). I then went into Lane Bryant and found two tank tops and some t-shirts that I liked. From there we hit the food court and just chilled out with some Ice Blended drinks from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. On the way out I hit Coach and bought a rather neat lilac and white bag. It's like my brown one in style and will be a great spring/summer bag. I love it. I did manage to show some restraint and bought no matching accessories and I didn't even buy the fishie keychain they had. Some restraint is better than none, right?

When we were done with the mall we headed back home and waited for Rob to get home. When he got back my Mom worked on Rob's car. The good news is that the stuff we got took the red paint from the other car off. The bad news is that the white marks are not paint, they're super deep scratches in his car. Bad enough that touch up paint isn't going to do a damn bit of good. So, it looks like at some point we'll have to see about getting those scratches repaired. Rob and I then made another Del Taco run for dinner while my Mom watched Gabriel and we brought the foodage back home and watched TV.

This morning my Mom was picked up by the limo around 9:15am. Bleh. I wish she could have stayed longer, but I'm so glad she was able to come out for the time she did. If we don't move soon, I'm going to have Rob see if he can get a week off this summer to head out and visit her. Should be interesting doing it with a baby this time. I have no idea when we'll be moving, all I know is that we would both like to do it soon because our rent is sky high and we'd like to get the hell out of LA. Unfortunately, it all depends on when one of us can find work out in the Milwaukee area. Rob recently sent some of his resumes off to my Dad, hopefully something will come of that. Anyway, I'm now home along with the baby. He's been rather fussy ever since his Grandma left, but I finally got him to calm down and watch some TV in his swing.

What's your way to escape reality? What's your salvation?

Poetry is your salvation. You see beauty where others see ugliness. Frighteningly intelligent, people don't understand how you think. Just like a beautiful ryhthmic poem. Mysterious and dark. You know the meaning of life you just simply don't care.~~Just me and my thoughts~~
