Ren Faire and Shopping

The weekend was very good. On Saturday the four of us headed to the Ren Faire. Yes again. Rob, Gabriel, and I love it there and my Mom has never been to one. We figured she'd like it and I think we were right. We wandered around, bought some stuff, ate yummy Ren faire food, and had a great time. We lucked out and it was cloudy and tolerable temperature wise. While we were eating lunch and feeding Gabriel we saw some Cam people that we hadn't seen in a long time (Shunit and Leigh). That was cool. We got to say hi and they got to see Gabriel. I ended up getting some more of those coin necklaces, some more tails, and picked up the ring I had special ordered. We got my Mom a coin necklace and she got herself this really cool fairy pendant that has a vanilla musk perfume in it. All in all it was a wonderful day. I wish the Ren Faire was open year round. I love it there.

On Sunday we did a lot of running around. We made a stop at Avenue so I could get some clothes that fit. My maternity clothing is too big for me and my pre-pregnancy clothing still don't fit in the waist. While I am losing the baby weight, my waist isn't going down at all. From what I hear it might not go down without surgery. And this sucks because when I have to get larger clothes to fit my waist the legs are huge. Apparently a c-section can cut the muscles and make it so you really can't tone anything. And there's not much that can be done with the hangy skin either. If I still can't close my pre-pregnancy pants down the road I might look into getting a tummy tuck. I'm hoping diet and exercise will do the trick though.

After Avenue we made what will probably be our last stop at Lionheart Games. I am not okay with that. My Mom got to see the place, but Lenny wasn't in. I bought some dice and the D&D Basic Set for when Gabriel is old enough to learn to play. Rob got the last of the minis that they had in stock. From there we headed to Babies R Us. We got some things we needed and the whole thing turned into one big bad clusterfuck which I don't feel like going into. After we bought what we needed Rob and I took Gabriel into the baby room to change and feed him. When we were done there I grabbed some coffee at The Coffee Bean and Tea Lead and we headed to Golden China for dinner. Dinner was great as usual and Gabriel loved looking at the fish in the fish tank. He was even making fishy faces at them.

After dinner we filled Rob's car up with gas, ran it through a car wash, and headed home. Today my Mom and I had considered going to the Aquarium but she wasn't up for it and I was kind of exhausted. So right now I'm getting the laundry done which is a good thing because I'm out of clean clothes. There's an absoulte ton that needs to be done and I highly doubt it will all get done today. Later on we're going to run out on some errands. That is, if my car works.

Socially Adept
50% Ineptitude

Aah, the happy place! You're socially adept and probably well-liked amongst many groups of people. Chances are you don't totally commit yourself, but you instead get to know many people from many social groups. You're assertive in that you can stand up for yourself without offending anybody, and you usually leave a positive impression on people you meet. You're a loyal friend who's there for them when they need you, but you don't allow others to take advantage. All in all, a well-rounded individual - so come on in, the friendship's warm! (PS did I mention that I HATE YOU!!!)
