Thoughts and Musings

Last night we stayed in. It's just easier to stay in as much as we can with the baby. The fact that we're usually dead tired also leads us to staying in more as well. Rob brought some food home with him and we watched TV (Hex, Gameshow Marathon, So You Think You Can Dance) and gamed a bit. I'm loving Hex so far. I'm not a big fan of TV and it's hard for me to find a favorite show or a show I want to watch every week, but I have. Hex is pretty much the only show I want to watch regularly. Everything else comes on if I have nothing better to do and need some background noise.

Today I'm wrecked. I didn't get much sleep last night and we had to call the security guard on the people above us (again) in the middle of the night because they were blaring their music. The baby went nuts right after Rob left for work and has been a spaz all morning. He keeps having screaming (screaming, not crying) fits. He's got a pediatrician appointment tomorrow morning and I'd like the doctor to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection. I noticed him rubbing his left ear a lot this morning when he was screaming so I'm wondering if there's a problem. I also know that can be a sign of an impending tooth coming in. Either way, I think it's best to have the doctor check him out and see if he can figure out what's making Gabriel scream all the time.

I'm exhausted and feel like crap. I'm not sick, I'm just sleep depped beyond all comprehension. I'm super dizzy, feel like I'm going to pass out, am working through a mind fog, and am using every fiber of my being just to stay awake. I have to take my car out tonight so I'm forced to stay up after Rob gets home, but there's a good chance I'll be passing out early tonight. I desperately need the sleep.

My clock currently says it's 10:15am. Barring any more problems, Rob should have his phone interview with the Wisconsin hospital at 11am. I'm crossing my fingers on this.
