Read/Post Comments (0) Rob had his phone interview with the Wisconsin hospital. I'll let him tell about it in detail if he wants to. I will however say that by law they have to post about the position internally. They already have one other application from someone already in the hospital, however they have said that Rob has the better credentials for the position. As far as moving cross country for this job, they understand it might take us some time and said that they haven't had this position in their hospital so far so they can wait until we move to fill it. They need to interview anyone else interested for the job and then they will get back to Rob and see if they want an in person interview. Things are looking decent. Rob called me to tell me this while I was feeding Gabriel. I put the phone on speakerphone so that I could talk to him and feed Gabriel. Gabriel wigged and I'm not sure why because he's heard people on speakerphone before. He started looking at the phone all freaked out and worried. He looked like he was wondering how Daddy got into the phone. He tried to grab the phone from me numerous times and succeded on a few occasions. When he got ahold of the phone he either put it in his mouth or hit me upside the head with it. Several times I got whacked in the head (hard I might add) with the phone. I also had my glasses pulled off and got those whacked on my head as well. He also tried to pull my glasses down into my nose. He's very grabby lately and I even had him tru to pull my nose and lip off. The lip hurts because as he was pulling it split open. Ow. I've been battered by a four month old! Mothers need hazard pay. The kid is definitely teething. During one of his screaming fits I let him chew on my knuckle and it calmed him down a bit. When I say screaming fit, I mean SCREAMING fit. This is not crying. It sounds like someone is torturing him and it's near impossible to get him to calm down. At our last pediatrician appointment the doctor said that teething doesn't actually cause the baby any pain. Well, if this is from teething then that's a load of hooey. Gabriel is definitely upset about something. I just can't figure out what to do about it. He's also very squeaky and hoarse. I don't know if he's coming down with something (please no) or if he's just screaming himself hoarse. He's also managing to roll over all the time and get into positions he doesn't like which leads to more screaming. Even in the bouncer chair he's trying to turn over, but the "seat belt" won't let him. That angers him and we get even more screaming. Looks like we're about back to where we were when he had colic. Bleh. ----------
