Last night we once again stayed in. We ordered Chinese food, gamed, and watched some TV (Hex, Master of Champions, and So You Think You Can Dance). So, like I've said before I'm liking Hex more and more and am slowly becoming addicted to it. It also doesn't hurt that Michael Fassbender (Azazeal) is HOT.

Today Rob had the day off of work. His hospital is having some financial problems so they "flexed down" today and he gets a five day weekend. How cool is that? He's also being forced to take off one day of work a pay period. He's got enough paid time off built up that it shouldn't be a pain for us financially (though it will mean less money paid out to him when we leave) and it will be nice to have him around a bit more. I'll never be disappointed about him being here with Gabriel and me.

Since he had the day off we decided to all head to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We thought today would be the best day because it will probably be packed the rest of the weekend. It was still rather packed today and filled with camp kids, but it was better than a weekend day. Gabriel loved the fish as usual and we saw all of the indoor exhibits. We decided to forego the outdoor ones because it was way too hot to be outside. Before leaving we checked out the gift shop and I had a rather nice surprise. There was a baby play gym (a laying down mat gym for when he's younger and a boat he can sit in and play in when he can sit up on his own) there that I really liked. I had wanted to get it for him before, but it was way too expensive. When my Mom was out here they were asking $180 for it. The last time Rob and I were there they were asking $150 for it. Well, it looks like no one would buy it at that price and they just wanted to get rid of it. Today it was marked down to $130 and was also 50% off of that. So, it was actually around $65! Yeah, at that price Gabriel now has the boat/fish play gym. Hooray! That makes me very happy that we went there today. Now we're back at home for the night.
