Sleepless Night

So tired. Need sleep badly. Ugh.

Last night we got Gabriel to fall asleep with his last bottle of the night and thought that was a good thing. Usually it is and usually he sleeps through the night. Not so last night or some of the other previous nights. A lot of the nights this week he's woken up around 2:30am wanting more food. Last night was the worst of them all. He woke up several times for various reasons (twice for a bottle, a few times for his binky, sometimes because he was uncomfortable, sometimes because he was cranky, etc.). I now feel like hammered shit and even though I have yet to make contact with him today, I'm betting that Rob's feeling that way as well. Last night was just plain miserable and now my entire body is crying out for the sleep it so desperately needs.

I had another "we need to leave... NOW" realization last night when watching the news. Barone's (one of our favorite restaurants and the place where we had our rehersal dinner and my baby shower) was robbed last night. Guys with freaking SHOTGUNS and AUTOMATIC WEAPONS went into the place to rob and terrorize the people in there, even the customers. *shudders* Now I don't feel safe eating out, especially since I have Gabriel to look after. The news said that there's been a string of these things at a whole bunch of restaurants near us. I wanna leave. Now.

I also had a "what the hell is going on" moment as the blue daisy lounge pants I was wearing ripped in the same spot as the other two pants had. So, now I've lost my strawberry lounge pants, my orange flower lounge pants, and my blue daisy lounge pants all in the same way. Same rip down the same spot of the same leg. Yeah, I got all of these at the same time but DAMN. What the hell??? I predict that my yellow citrus fruit pants will be the next to go and probably fairly soon since I bought those at the same time as well. This is starting to piss me off. Looks like there's another Lane Bryant trip in my immediate future.

Just talked to Rob and he's worse off that I am. He's guzzling coffee just to stay awake. The Poopchuck woke up five times on his end and he didn't get more than 45 minutes of sleep at one time, and I have a feeling those sleep bits were gotten in the comfy chair and not in the bed. He also told me that Diana (one of his bosses) was re-admitted to the hospital with more heart issues. I really hope she'll be okay, I like her a lot and she's one of the few people that treated me nicely when I'd show up to his office while pregnant.

Wizard
You scored 11 Warrior, 57 Spellcaster, 37 Rogue, and 39 Misc!

A few unintelligible words and a fleeting gesture carry more power than a battleaxe, when they are the words and gestures of a wizard. These simple acts make magic seem easy, but they only hint at the time a wizard must spend pouring over her spellbook preparing each spell for casting, and the years before that spent in apprenticeship to learn the arts of magic. Wizards depend on intensive study to create their magic. They examine musty old tomes, debate magical theory with their peers, and practice minor magics whenever they can. For a wizard, magic is not a talent but a difficult, rewarding art.
