Mood:
My ear hurts

I'm actually posting on a weekend. Ooooooh. Actually, I'm letting my hair air dry a bit before I blow dry it. Otherwise it takes close to a half hour (and I usually end up blowing a circuit around here with the dryer) for me to blow dry it. So, I'm online.

Friday night we headed to the mall both because my car needed to get out and because I needed some stuff there. We made a stop in Bath and Body Works for some Wallflowers and were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were all on sale. Woot. We also went into Lane Bryant, but they didn't have what I was looking for (a replacement for the blue daisy lounge pants that I had just lost) so I'll check back there another time. I didn't really like the ones they had in. There are some cool ones online, so I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before they get them in their stores. We grabbed dinner in the food court and then headed back home for the night.

Saturday morning we had a pediatrician appointment for Gabriel. He's doing well and growing just fine. He's now 14 pounds 8 ounces and 26 inches long. My baby's getting bigger. I dread the time when he's no longer portable. I like him little and able to be carried around. He got a shot and that sent him into a bit of a fit and made him somewhat fussy for the rest of the day. Tylenol seemed to help a bit with that. When we got back we were able to get Gabriel to take a nap and we did too. When we woke up we showered and got ready and headed out to Good Sam (yes the hospital where Rob works) to visit his co-worker (actually one of his bosses) Diana. She was re-admitted Friday morning with more heart problems. She seemed happy to have some visitors and we stayed for about an hour and a half. She also really seemed to like Gabriel and the nurses who came into her room also ooohed and aahed over him. We headed out when visiting time was over, grabbed some food, and headed back home.

This morning I was able to sleep in a bit and now I'm in the middle of getting ready and soon we shall head out. Oh, one thing I almost forgot to mention. My ear hurts on the inside and it's annoying the hell out of me. I'm hoping it will go away on its own because I don't really have the time to see a doctor at the moment. It's the same ear that I kept going deaf in at the end of my pregnancy. Bleh.

Your Brain's Pattern
You have a dreamy mind, full of fancy and fantasy.
You have the ability to stay forever entertained with your thoughts.
People may say you're hard to read, but that's because you're so internally focused.
But when you do share what you're thinking, people are impressed with your imagination.
