I just got a phone call from Rob. He had a phone interview with a company in Milwaukee. It's not a hospital, but he'd be doing HR stuff there. The hospital prospect was better because he would have been doing the exact same thing he's doing now, but that didn't work out. He's been sending his resume out for whatever he finds that he's qualified for and this place contacted him back. I don't want to jinx things, but he said the interview seemed to go well. They'll contact him down the road to let him know if they want an in person interview or if they're going with someone else. The salary would be less than he makes now, but still within his acceptable range of what he would take. So cross your fingers for us and wish us luck, it looks like we have another possibile lead on getting the hell out of Los Angeles.

Oddly enough, when we were at Golden China last Saturday, Rob's fortune cookie said that something he wanted would be coming to him. Then on the back it was the Chinese translation for September. Maybe we'll be moving in September. Maybe he'll get a job offer out there in September. Or maybe it's just a cookie.

As a side note, I just loaded up some more pics of Gabriel onto the computer. Send me an e-mail or leave a comment if you want some. If you're reading this and it's August you might want to send me an e-mail because I don't usually check the comments sections from the previous month. Come to think of it, e-mail is probably better than leaving a comment, but it's up to you.
