Rob had a half day yesterday and got home around 12:30pm. We got the Poopchuck ready and headed back to the hospital. We grabbed some bacon wrapped dogs for lunch (no, I will never learn) and then headed to my doctor appointment. The doctor checked out my ears and said that everything now looked good and that I can stop the drops. He said if I have any pain or itching in either of them to just start the drops again. He wants me to come back in three months to make sure everything is going well, but I'm going to wait to make the appointment until further down the road. While it looks as if we'll still be here then *grumbles* I can dream that I won't be living here anymore, right? We're coming so close to just leaving and getting an apartment instead of a house or condo out there and praying one of us finds work soon. I hate it here and more than anything want to move. I feel like my soul is being sucked out and being in a place I hate is making me rather depressed as well. I need to leave.

After the doctor appointment we made a pit stop in Rob's office. What was going to be a diaper change on his desk turned into people fawning all over Gabriel. Damn, that little guy is a flirt. After the fawning and the clean diaper we headed out.

On the way home we stopped off at Ralph's to pick up what we needed for dinner. They had everything but the meat. Well, they had meat but it looked nasty. So we made a stop at Vons for the meat and then headed back home. We set the steaks to marinate and took a bit of a nap. After getting up Rob cooked up dinner (steaks, mashed potatoes, and rice) and we ate, did a wee bit of gaming, and watched Hell's Kitchen.

Due to the fact that Rob was around yesterday, the Poopchuck did not poop. (For some odd reason he only poops around me.) So, there's going to be a poop storm at some point today. It's been two days since he pooped and I have a feeling that stockpiled poop is just waiting for me. I fear the diaper explosion that is awaiting me.
