Friday night was the start of the new D&D game. Pita is playing a Changling (someone who can adapt to look like anyone they want to) Necromancer named Shade. She has a pet Vargouille (little undead floating head thing) named Rot as her familiar. Berek is playing a Drow (dark elf) Cleric/Rogue, I don't remember off hand what his character's name is. I'm playing Lystra Renier, a lycanthrope (panther) Paladin of Slaughter (of Malcanthet - the Queen of the Succubi). Even though I was half asleep, the game was very fun. Everything went well and our group worked very well together. It was interesting because the game is taking place in the core Greyhawk world, but all three of our characters are originally from different planes. Pita's character is from Ebberon, Berek's character is from Faerun, and my character is from Ravenloft. I don't know how long the game will run for (it all depends on how long we stick around LA), but I'll enjoy it while I can. We won't be playing this Friday (Berek has a guest coming in to town), but hopefully we'll be able to work something out for the Friday after that.

Saturday I had a hair appointment at Gebhart. The three of us got up a bit early and headed out for my 11am appointment. I stayed the same golden blonde color, but it always takes awhile to get done because it's a double process (bleach up roots, wash out, dry hair, put on all over color, wash out, cut hair, dry and style hair). I also got a bit of a trim. I want to try to grow my hair long (and it's not cooperating), but really needed to get the ends off of there. After the hair appointment we headed to Golden China (which is only two doors away) to grab some foodage. After our lunch/dinner (it was around 3pm when we ate) we headed back to our area and made a stop off at Game Zone on the way home to get the new gargantuan black dragon mini. Damn, it's cool. I don't know how often I'll play him in the minis game, but for now he's on my dresser. I can't wait until the colossal red dragon comes out.

When we got home we took a bit of a nap and then Gabriel started fussing. I was exhausted so Rob watched the baby while I slept. Once I got up it was already 9pm so we just chilled out and played with Gabriel for a bit. Once we got him to fall asleep the two of us went to bed for the night.

Sunday we both decided we should just stay in. So we slept in, chilled out around the house, and ordered in food for dinner. We played with Gabriel a lot and gamed a bit. We didn't bother even having the TV on in the background.

This morning I had to get up at 6:30am. I'm currently chugging down a sugar free Red Bull, but it's not doing much to clear the haze of exhaustion from my head. I am so tired it's not even funny. Rob's taking a half day today and this afternoon I have my follow up appointment with the ear doctor. Someone needs to watch the baby, so Rob's only going to work in the morning. Luckily, his boss understands that I can't really do much of anything unless someone can watch the baby for me and doesn't seem to mind him taking the afternoon off. Anyway, I got up when Rob was up this morning so that I could shower. I knew there was no way I'd be able to fit one in while watching the baby in the morning (most days I try and get one in around 3 or 4pm when he takes a short nap), so I thought it best to shower before Rob left for work so he could watch Gabriel. Now I'm up and dead tired. Gabriel is also up so I can't go back to bed. Ugh. This sucks. If I have the time after the appointment this afternoon I might try to squeeze in a nap.
