Five On Friday: Shop-a-holic

1. What are your five favorite stores? Lane Bryant, Avenue, Coach, Sephora, and Bath and Body Works.

2. Is there any store you absolutely hate going to? Nah, I can deal with pretty much any store, even the necessary ones like Babies R Us and the grocery and drug stores.

3. Do you pay with cash, credit, debit, or something else? Depends on the situation. If it's a small purchase then probably cash. Otherwise I sometimes use my credit card and sometimes use my debit card.

4. Do you prefer to shop in person or online? Most definitely in person. That way I can see the item up close, try it on, etc.

5. In the last six months, what single purchase has been the most important to you? The gold Egyptian heiroglyph ring that I bought at the Ren Faire. I absolutely love it and wear it every time I go out.


Friday Fiver

1. When is the last time your phone rang in the middle of the night? I don't remember, but I think most people know that if they called in the middle of the night I would hunt them down and kill them. Or at least cover them in the Poopchuck's diapers.

2. Who makes you yell? Rob, but in a very, very good way.

3. What do you do for fun? Play with Gabriel, put entries in this journal, play Neopets, play Dungeons and Dragons.

4. What hours do you work/go to school? Well, since my current job (until we move) is to take care of Gabriel I'm usually working (or at least "on call") 24/7.

5. Who is number one in your life? I can't just pick one person. My family is number one. Rob, Gabriel, and my Mom are all number one to me.


Fryin' Friday

1. If you are in the US, is the heat wave affecting your area? If not in the US, do you get heat waves where you are? The heat wave was affecting my area, big time. Recently it's gotten somewhat better though. Better, but still intolerable to me.

2. What do you do to beat the heat? Stay inside in the air conditioned apartment and go outside as little as possible.

3. Are you more of a heat person, or do you like the cold? Cold!!! I cannot tolerate the heat and I love the cold. I think I even commented to Rob the other day that I'd like to live in the freezer.


Random Questions

1. Would you rather have a strong mutant power but everyone knew you had it, or have a minor power that was unknown to anyone? The strong power! Who cares if people know I have it?

2. Would you rather only age from the neck down, or from the neck up? I'd rather age only from the neck down. My body's already shot, but I really wouldn't mind keeping a young face.

3. Have you ever lied during confession? I've never been to confession. I can say that I would never lie to a priest though. That's just bad karma waiting to bite you in the ass.

4. What is your favorite midnight snack? Water. I don't eat during the middle of the night, but I do get up sometimes and chug down a bottle of water.

5. What three things are you thankful for today? My husband Rob, my son Gabriel, and the fact that it will soon be the weekend.

6. What is your favorite black and white movie? Dracula

7. Are you watching Big Brother this summer? Would you ever consider applying to be on Big Brother? What would your game strategy be? Do you think Will is going to win? Kind of, I have it on in the background some nights. I don't think I would apply to be on it, I wouldn't want to be away from Rob and Gabriel for that long. Never thought of a strategy because I've never considered applying for the show. I don't know if Will will win or not, but I'm rooting for Chicken George.

8. What is your favorite cookie? Oatmeal raisin (as long as there are no nuts in it).

9. Where were you born? Chicago, Illinois.

10. How surprised would you be if your mother came home sporting a new tattoo? What do think she would get, and where would it be? She has one, I was with her when she got it. It's a spider on her shoulder. I would be a little surprised if she got another one, but if she did I'm betting it would be a design around one of her ankles.
