2006-08-18 1:04 PM Gabriel Is 6 Months! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: In a lot of pain. Read/Post Comments (3) Yesterday I washed up all of Gabriel's new clothing. When Rob got home from work we put away all of his too small clothes and arranged the new stuff. My baby's growing up too fast. *snifflewah* We stayed in last night and Rob brought dinner home from Arby's. We watched Who Wants To Be A Superhero (good lord I want to be on that show... Gabriel can be my sidekick Super-Pooper), Big Brother, and had America's Got Talent on just to see who won (what a disappointment). We gamed a wee bit and then went to bed... or tried to anyway. Gabriel slept from about midnight until around 3am. That was it. He was up and crying for the rest of the night. *sigh* I think I spoke too soon yesterday when I mentioned that he slept through the night. I am super tired and staying awake through the power of sugar free Red Bull. I have a feeling Rob isn't faring much better at work. Oy. This kid has to sleep eventually, right? Oh, and not only did we have another mostly sleepless night last night, but Gabriel also didn't nap at all yesterday during the day. How can this kid not sleep? And yes, we've tried warm bottles, music, rocking, singing, etc. and none of it works. He just doesn't sleep. Yes, my finger is still green. No, I haven't had it popped yet. I finally found out how Gabriel keeps getting out of his bouncy seat without hurting himself. He turns around onto his stomach, then he pulls his legs out of the restraints, then he worms his way up to the top of the seat and pushes up on his arms, the seat falls over and he just worms out and onto the floor. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this kid is way too smart for my own good. He also mimics things. The toe touching and jumping on Sesame Street I've mentioned before. But Wednesday on Sesame Street they did segments about how everybody sleeps... and he slept through the night that night. Today there was a lot of things to do with bouncing. I fear what tonight is going to be like. This kid's gonna be bouncing all over the place. Today is Gabriel's 6 month birthday. I just gave him a little teddy bear rattle and we have more toys as presents to give to him tonight. When Rob gets home from work he'll be getting his first taste of solid food in the form of rice cereal. After a week of rice cereal it will be time for carrots. Wow. He really is growing up too fast. How the hell can it have been six months already? Okay, ow. I just seriously hurt myself. I think I'm screwed until Rob gets home. I lifted Gabriel and his bouncy seat and something popped in my back. My back hurts like hell and I now can't even lift his Exersaucer. My back is in such pain that I'm sweating profusely and feel like I'm going to throw up. I'm glad tomorrow's the weekend. ----------
You scored -7 moxie, -2 zeal, and 2 pomp! Your interest in riding a motorcycle is purely practical - its cheap, easy to get through the city, and you can park anywhere. You are unlikely to ever ride anywhere except between home and work or school. In order to maximize the practicality of riding, you read the magazine reviews and choose a bland yet utterly reliable Honda, a sensible motorcycle for sensible people.
