Gabriel is most definitely a very smart baby. Last night he was in his playpen and there's a toy attached to it that plays music and has colored lights that flash when you push one of the buttons. He couldn't reach the buttons with his hands and he realized this. So, he turned around and kicked them to get the music going! After a few kicks he realized he could only kick the bottom two and couldn't reach the top two even with a kick. So he grabbed his stuffed catapiller and started whacking at the top numbers until he hit one dead on and the music went off. This kid is scary smart.

Last night Rob and I stayed in. I'm having more problems with one of the meds that I'm on and it's making me sick as hell and weak from anemia. We just chilled out and he brought sandwiches from Subway home for dinner. There was nothing remotely watchable on TV so we just gamed and played with Gabriel.

My finger is much better. The green is totally gone and the skin peeled off. The new skin is still a bit raw, but that should toughen up over a few days. I put some antibiotic cream and a band aid on it last night before bed and it looks so much better this morning. Not having my finger be a weird green color is definitely a good thing.
