Read/Post Comments (4) Last night when Rob got home from work we tried to order in dinner and his ATM check card was declined. The first thing that went through my mind was "not again". Yup, again! He called our bank to see what was going on and they said they had shut it down due to suspicious activity. Yesterday there was a $200 and some dollar charge at a 7-Eleven. There were also two Ticketmaster charges for $1750 or so and a charge from Robinsons May. None of those were made by Rob. The 7-Eleven charge went through, but they shut the card down because of the Ticketmaster charge. Ticketmaster contacted the bank to let them know about the charge and that the name the person gave did not match the name that went with that account. Now we're working to get the money put back into his account. I don't know if he will file a police report or not this time. The last two times this has happened he's filed a police report and no one has ever done anything about it. No one checked into any of the leads or even ever gave us a copy of the report. So, this time Rob's seeing what he can do and he's in contact with the 7-Eleven to see if they have a video tape of the person who made that huge charge. I wish I knew an LAPD officer right about now. Because I know that even if we get the tape and all of that from the 7-Eleven nothing will be done. No one even ever looked at the cases the two other times, even a year later there's no report filed by the detective who the information was given to. I have no idea how the hell people keep getting access to Rob's card number and account. I can't wait until we move. I have a feeling that this sort of activity is a bit less prevalent out in the Wisconsin suburbs. So, there's good news and bad news on the moving front. The good news is that one of Rob's interviews (a second one he had yesterday) went well. The bad news is that they want him to come out there. So, we're back to the clusterfuck of trying to see if my Mom can come out on those dates. With some of the post surgery problems I'm having there's no way I can take care of Gabriel for a few days straight with no break all on my own. Right now we're trying to get in touch with my Mom to see if she can come out on those dates. It will all depend on whether or not my Uncle Kim can take my Grandma for a few days. Gabriel is crawling like a mad man. He's not creeping at all anymore. This kid is full on crawling and he's moving fast! He can also pull himself up to a standing position. It's only a matter of time before he starts to walk. Wow, he's growing up fast. We tried feeding him turkey for the past few nights. He hates that as well. *sigh* He'll only eat a spoon or two of carrots or applesauce and he won't eat green beans, chicken, or turkey. *sigh* There has to be a solid food out there other that rice cereal that he'll like! And no, we have not yet gotten to sweet potatoes. ----------
