We've tried sweet potatoes and Gabriel doesn't really like them. He'll eat a few spoonfuls and then not want anymore. But today we found a food he'll eat! He seems to love bananas. Cool, so now we have rice cereal and bananas that he'll eat. I'd like to find at least one veggie and meat that he'll eat to round out his diet, but with this finicky eater, bananas are definitely a success!

So, Gabriel's current food tastes look like this:
Rice Cereal and bananas: Loves.
Carrots and sweet potatoes: Will eat a spoon or two and then refuse any more.
Green Beans: Dislikes greatly.
Chicken and turkey: Hates.

In other baby news Gabriel is now sitting on his own and able to get from crawling to sitting when he wants to. He's also pulling himself up onto his feet in his playpen. It's scary to think that just seven months ago (well, seven months ago tomorrow) he was only able to lay there and cry. Now he's talkative and babbles a lot (in baby language), smiles all the time, has a wicked sense of humor and an impish personality, and is mobile. Wow.
