Comments are still coming in so I'll wait to let people know which statement (from my previous entry) is the false one. I'll probably post the answer and explanations both in a journal entry and at the end of the comments section where everyone has been guessing.

Last night we stayed around the house. Rob got his new ATM/debit card in the mail and activated it so he now has access to his account. He did the grocery shopping on the way home and he cooked dinner. We watched Survivor and Deal or No Deal and tried to get to bed early, but it just didn't work out. It never does. *sigh*

Rob spoke with one of the corporate offices for 7-Eleven and they contacted the one in Commerce and explained the problem to the owner. They're making a copy of the tape that the police can pick up. However, we can't file with the police until Rob gets certain documents from the bank. The good news is that they have the guys picture very clearly on the tape. The bad news is that we know nothing will be done about it. We had an address of the person who tried to get a credit card with Rob's info and the police did nothing about it. They also did nothing (so much nothing that we couldn't get a copy of the police report because they never even did that and the detective ignored the case) the last time someone was taking money out of our accounts. So, it's all well and good that the tape is there, but I highly doubt the police will even look at it.

Tonight we're having our D&D game. I'm hoping it won't be the last one. Next week Rob will be out in Wisconsin and if he does get the job we'll need to be out there to house hunt and then wrap up things out here and move. While I'm super excited to get the hell out of here and move (and so hope Rob gets that job) I also hope we can squeeze in another game (or more) before we leave.

Exploding bears (growl growl boom) are no longer funny to Gabriel. But exploding monkeys (ook ook boom) are. We think that stems from his hatred of monkeys.

We tried peas last night and Gabriel ate about 1/3 of what we offered him. Not bad. Now let's just see if he'll eat any of it tonight. We really need to get him on a solid food kick. As of now he'll eat (at best) a half a jar of baby food and a little bit of rice cereal. He needs to eat more than that because those 8 oz bottles aren't cutting it anymore. Last night before bed he downed 12 oz! But it's not easy to get him to eat the solid stuff. Most of it he hates.

Pure Geek
47 % Nerd, 52% Geek, 43% Dork

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

It's not that you're a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don't really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some interests that aren't quite mainstream. Perhaps it's anime, perhaps it's computers, perhaps it's bottlecaps, perhaps it's all of those and more. Your interests take you to events and gatherings that are filled with people you find unusual and beyond-the-pale, but you don't quite consider yourself "of that crowd." Instead, you consider yourself to be fairly normal.

Which, you are.

The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test
